May be: Bring her to see her pediatrician and discuss further with the doctor. She may need to see a pediatric hematologist for further work-up of the bruising and to evaluate whether there is any bleeding disorder like von willebrands disease etc.. Good luck.

Referral: The extent of the skin discoloration and a possible underlying problem should be further evaluated. There may be a surface bruise not related to her hip condition, but there are rare conditions which cause skin discoloration and spinal problems. An imaging study may be indicated.
