Yes: Common after surgery to feel something like that. Talk to your surgeon.

Maybe: It is common to have a post excision lump due to fluid collecting in the surgical cavity(seroma) or bleeding(hematoma). However, if you are concerned, or the pain/lump is increasing, call your surgeon to make sure all is well.
