I have had an operation and a metal rod in my thigh. it feels cold constantly. is this normal. what can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

SEVERAL OPTIONS: If fairly recent surgery, you will likely stop having that cold sensation after a time. Exposure to cold should be reduced and wearing warmer clothing on the legs/thigh such as long underwear or a fleece type clothes may reduce the effects of temperature directly. Limit/avoid caffeine or tobacco to improve circulation. Exercise progressively to tolerance to heal faster.
