For the ACL : Reconstruction is the gold standard, typically done with a graft tendon harvested from your own patella or hamstring. For the the PCL tendon surgery is not usually done if it is torn by itself, but if it is torn along with an acl tear it is often reconstructed in the same setting with a hamstring tendon or even a cadaver allograft.
