A member asked:

Hepatitus b evaluation, am i hepatitus b positive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Data?: To answer your question you need to be tested, so see your doctor and have blood tests done. If a test is positive for hepatitis b antibodies, it means you have been exposed and developed an immune reaction to the virus, or you have been vaccinated against it (very common now). If you are hep b antigen positive, you have an active infection with the virus.
