A member asked:

I tested positive for hepatitis b and also i'm immune to it. what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need actual results: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, if you have antibodies to Hep B surface antigen and core antigen but are negative of Hep B surface antigen and e antigen, you were infected with Hep B and recovered and are now immune.
