A member asked:

I have hepatitis c, and can not afford the treatment.is there somewhere i can get funding or even be apart of a trial?

Yes: The drug companies will provide hepatitis c drugs at no charge for people who qualify (insurance doesn't cover the drugs and lower income). Your provider would need decide what treatment you need and help you apply. Clinical trials help everyone get more information about how well new drugs work and how safe they are. Clinicaltrials.Gov lists info about registered studies and sites.

This PDF may help: I would suggest you check out this PDF, "Guide to Clinical Trials for People with Hepatitis C". If there is a large teaching medical center in your area, that would be a good place to start as well.
