Dr. Mark Weston answered

Specializes in Orthopedic Spine Surgery

Depends: On symptoms and procedure proposed i would recommend back surgery for only severe pain or nerve dysfunction weakness numbness ect. Caused by a well defined irrefutable fixable pain generator be cautious in any other setting.
