Foot/ankle gait exam: Get a full orthopedic or podiatric work up. Bracing, orthotics, trigger point injections or get a surgical consult as any one of these may help you get relief.

Support: Short answer - get a good ankle support and arch support from a sporting goods store. Along with high top athletic shoes or light weight lace-up boots. Keep them on as much as possible. If not feeling at least some better after 6-8 weeks, see doctor again.
