No proof: Many physicians advise that women assume positions with hips up after inseminations. Many friends and family say that things like this worked for them. If there is no harm, then some of the approaches might be of value. However, we do not have convincing proof of any such activity being a 'for sure' pregnancy aid.

No benefit: Upside-down positional changes after intercourse are of no appreciable benefit, because it just helps sperm pool in the upper pockets of the vagina. Upside-down positional changes after insemination are probably helpful because in that case, the sperm is already in the uterus and harnessing gravity helps more sperm get directed into the tubes rather than leak out the cervix.
