Maybe: In general herpes is very painful. However, it varies depending on the stage that you notice them. At the vesicular stage or bubbles, they may not hurt as much but when they turn into blisters, they are very painful as the nerve endings are exposed. If they are already blistering and still non-painful, they are probably not herpes but another infections or condition altogether.
