More likely not: Pid will present more with vaginal discharge and lower pelvic pain more than passing gas and irregular bowel movements, (which is more suggestive of intestinal problems). On pelvic exam, pid will elicit pain and tenderness on cervical palpation and lower pelvic tenderness. Any symptoms that is persistent and worsening should be evaluated by your physician.
