Acne pimples: Stop eating nuts, peanut butter, chocolate, and cut down on dairy products. Over-the-counter bpo (benzoyl peroxide) products help. But in the long run, only a dermatologist can help by prescribing oral antibiotics and prescription topical (surface) medication for you.

See a dermatologist: Every person is different and it is best to see a dermatologist so that they can figure out what kind of acne you have and give you proper medication to get rid of it. A product containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid often clears the skin. This does not mean that the acne will clear overnight.
