Acne: Stop nuts and peanut butter. Stop chocolate; cut down on dairy products. Wash with neutrogena acne wash and apply a bpo (benzoyl peroxide) cream or lotion -- something like clearasil -- on the affected areas at night. If it persists, see a dermatologist who may prescribe an oral antibiotic for you.

Combination: A trial of hydroquinone cream with or without retinoids and steroid may help. Sunblock is a must.

Acne Blemish: The treatment depends on the problem causing the blemish is it a hyperpigmented scar, a depression, an ice pick, a cyst, etc. Depending on the diagnosis treatments include: bleaching agents, peels, dermabrasion, laser resurfacing, skin needling, camouflage, tattoo, excision, grafting, fillers, fat grafting, puch grafting, soft tissue rearrangement, etc.

Fast zit zapping: If you have a big event coming up and need to get rid of a pimple fast, go see your primary doc or derm. He or she can inject a corticosteroid directly to the pimple and it will get better-usually within 24 hours. My favorite steroid to use is kenalog (triamcinolone). Keep in mind this should be reserved for emergencies, not used on a regular basis. The best pimple treatment, as always, is prevention :).
