What does it mean when you have blood in your stool and itchy red bumps on skin?

May not be related: Blood in the stool is abnormal and depending on bright red blood vs. Dark, tarry black stools may help doctor to know which part of the GI tract is affected. This should be checked out! a rash of itchy red bumps also has a number of possible diagnoses. Take a photo of rash if it seems to come/go so the photo can be shown to the doctor. These may or may not be related.

Bumps on back of hands and fingers. Itchy sometimes, other times not. Bumps are skin coloured--no redness. The itch is almost a burning sensation.
