Mommy Makeover: Thanks for your question. If you are in good health including not being anemic or a smoker, I do both a tummy tuck and breast surgery augmentation, lift, reduction, etc all the time. We call it the mommy makeover. Make sure you see a diplomate of the american board of plastic surgery to perform the procedure.

Sometimes.: Yes, breast and tummy tuck surgery are frequently performed together. However, each patient's “situation” is evaluated individually, with emphasis placed on safety of having the combination procedures. Patient's medical condition and duration of surgery are considered. The safety record of the anesthesiologist and that of the fully accredited surgery facility should be asked about also.

Depends: Depends on multiple things: how extensive your tummy tuck and breast surgery will be, your level of health, your age, your weight, whether your operation will be performed in a hospital or as an outpatient, etc... Talk with your surgeon about your goals for recovery and s/he will recommended plan that will have your safety above all else.
