3 months: I reccomend minimal sun for 3 months and then conrinue sunscreen use for one year after the procedure.

Dermabrasion: Dermabrasion causes the treated skin to be pink or pale red in color while the skin is healing. Sun exposure during the healing phase can produce hyperpigmentation or dark colored skin. Sun exposure should be avoided until the skin treated by dermabrasion returns to normal color.
