ONLY 1.28% GET CONST: In a study of 7497 patients taking Concerta only 96 that is 1.28% had constipation.Talk to your doctor, you can try a laxative like MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) and/or a stool softner to see if it will help, or see a gastroenterologist it may or may not be caused by concerta.

Molested?: You raise 3 big issues: molestation, constipation, and concerta. I agree with dr. Khanna that your doctor can help with any side effects of concerta. But have you received therapy for the molestation? You've been constipated for 8 years -- maybe even before you started concerta? Physical symptoms frequently follow molestations, so i'm wondering about your recovery process. Hoping the best 4 u.
