A member asked:

Is it possible to "lose" a tampon inside of you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If: If you mean, left in vagina, then yes. Sometimes people have been known to leave a tampon in for weeks, and that puts you at risk for bad infections. If you put your finger high into the vagina and cannot feel anything, then you're probably in the clear. It cannot go anywhere other than in the vagina.
