A member asked:

Why didn't any of my reflexes respond when the doctor banged them with the small hammer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be benign: Adie-holmes syndrome describes a benign variation where some people have very poorly responding reflexes for life, and there is no overt subsequent problem. Alternatively, if you do have numbness and/or weakness, the reflex responses could suggest peripheral neuropathy.
