U Can't Know: It sounds like you had and ERCP to study the bile duct and that a "stent" or tube was left to temporarily keep the duct open. This stent would probably have been removed anyway. As long as you have not turned yellow (jaundiced) there probably is no emergency. If something physical has changed you should tell your doctor.
