Emotional response: Most regression from accomplished skills are an emotional response to events the kid views as stressful. The appearance of a new sibling who consumes attention they held before will do it. Turmoil in the household.Their desire to go back to the way things were before, etc. At 4 you have the benefit of their talking & can ask.If resistant, a therapist can often find out in play therapy.

Usually : This is because of a new member in the family- like a newborn, a change or a move, or adoption; daycare / famiky more expectations from him , stress , divorce , medical conditions etc. Keep a positive attitude. Being negative will only escalate the situation. Consult with your pediatrician if becoming worst
