Soak in warm water: I wouln't run to an er today, s this is likely all the same virus. The urethra (the tube from the bladder to the outside) can get inflammed during a viral infection, like the stomach stuff your child is experiencing. Can also get irritated from the diarrhea. Thus, soaks in warm clear water may be helpful. If not better in morning, would see you usual doc and have urine check for uti.

Sounds like your : Three yo has the stomach virus. Vomiting can be due to possible urinary tract infection and burning due to skin irritation and increase sensitivity from all the diarrhea. Need to see your pediatrician on monday if still symptomatic. You can apply maalox suspension if skin is excoriated/ irritated around the diaper area to promote faster healing and neutralize the acid environment.
