Just had a cortisone shot , how long will it be before pain stops or feels better?

Depends: It depends on where u were injected & 4 what DX was. If the injection missed the mark, some ink r more difficult than others. Assuming the injection hit the mark u usually feel immediate relief from the anesthetic used then ssx may b come worse 4 a few days until the steroid kicks in.

Let me explain: When i inject cortisone i mix it with novocain (procaine) 1%, so the patient feel relief wright away, which last for 4 hours, then in 24 hours the cortisne start it effects. Good luck.
