Dry skin: It is due to the strong acne medicine. If you have not stopped then you need to consider stopping if the dry lips is too much. Make sure you are not taking any additional vitamin a and keep utilizing the vaseline petroleum jelly around the clock. Talk to your dermatologist.

Sensitive lips: Oratane is a retinoid which increases epithelial cell turnover to help acne. On your lips, this rapid turnover means your lips get drier and chapped. You can continue to use moisturizer on the lips if the rest of your acne is better, or you can stop oratane and substitute with a topical retinoid cream on the acne avoiding the lips so they are not as affected.
