Check heart first: At your age left side chest pain is always to be evaluated further. Family history, cholesterol levels all of this determine what this might be. Left side has heart lungs , lining of lung, esophagus, ribs, muscle. So if pain comes with exercise or activity it needs to be checked immediately.
