Yes can show on both: Cardiac scar from previous heart attack can be shown in myocardial perfusion scan stress test and also in stres echocardiography.

Only echo.: A chemical stress test with nuclear scintigraphy can demonstrate scar but not your typical treadmill/ ekg testing.
