Hi i have been diagnosed with diverticulitis and also have gout. should i be careful with the antibiotics they have me on vs the steroids n gout meds.

Steroids: Why steroids with gout? That shouldn't be. You need to get off those if you have diverticulitis as they can make the attacks worse. See your surgeon and a rheumatologist asap.

Diverticulitis 1st: Your first priority is treating the diverticulitis. You should make sure it is well controlled before worrying about your gout. If your gout does flare during treatment there are still a number of options to help.
