Need time to adjust: When first getting contacts, what you see is different than what you are used to. It may take a few days to adjust to the vision in the contacts. It's unusual, but this can cause headaches. If it's purely that you need to adjust, it will take a week or two at most. If your headaches persist beyond that, go back to your eye doctor and discuss. If your headaches worsen, consult your primary doctor.
