A member asked:

I've tried everything to get 2yo to take forms of liquid meds and recently he spits it out! can they put liquid prescription in suppository form at the pharm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: Absorption from suppositories is difficult to predict, so any medication placed in a suppository would have to be approved first. Toddlers can be stubborn. One trick we have used is to chase the medicine with a little chocolate syrup. Good luck.
