See your doctor...: If you are having severe pain after surgery you need to see your surgeon to figure out what is going on. During a laparoscopic removal of the gallbladder the abdomen is filled with gas and this can cause shoulder and back pain post-operatively. But this pain could also be a sign of pancreatitis.
