A member asked:

Is it possible i could be anemic although it didn't show up on blood test? i've always been very tired and had blotchy transparent skin & black eyes.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iron poor blood?: Generally in order to have symptoms from anemia you must have real anemia - a low red blood cell count. However, there are some people who feel better when they take iron despite demonstrable deficiency. It certainly won't hurt to do a brief trial of iron supplementation and see if you feel better. Iron 325 mg each day.
