Depending on the duration and accompanying features, it could be simply dryness which can be corrected by application of Aloe Vera, glycerine and rose water mixture twice a day with sunscreen or hat during day. It can be dermatitis- contact, atopic or seborrheic. Rosacea, psoriasis and lupus can also give red inflammation of cheeks. If simple measures make no difference, please see dermatologist.
