I've had ringing in right ear for two days now. it started after drinking coffee and won't go away. any idea why or what to do? ears are clean inside.

Need ENT eval: Unsure why this developed when it did. If this is an on-going problem, you should see an ent, have a thorough exam including an audiogram. Recent study out of korea demonstrated improvement in tinnitus loudness, duration, annoyance, and tinnitus handicap inventory score with Klonopin (clonazepam) 0.5 to 2 mg per day. This is the 3rd study that showed improvement with benzodiazepines. (jnnp 83, 821-827, 2012).
