Really depends: This is a detailed discussion that can't be answered here. You need to talk to your doctor. It depends on the time course and what has been done. You may need surgery but again it really depends. You need to speak with your doc or one who has all the info.

Probable biopsy: Most ulcers heal with adequate therapy. If it is still there, there will likely be a biopsy done and some blood work ordered to see why this is the case.
