A member asked:

I think that i have a problem with my thyroid i have been to hospital and doctors a lot of times with all the symptoms. but they have not diagnos?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need testing: Symptoms related to thyroid disease are common in general. People with low thyroid have weight gain, fatigue, feel cold, sleepiness, swelling, dry skin, hair loss. People with high thyroid feel anxious, palpitations, weight loss, trouble sleeping, muscle weakness, sweats. The problem is that many of these symptoms occur in people without thyroid disease. Thyroid blood testsing is very accurate.
