I've 2 quarter size inflamed dry patches of skin that came up 2 weeks ago. its itchy! been given fucicort but it isnt working. do you have any ideas?

Depends on location: The spots could be a form of eczema. In my experience the medication works better in an ointment base for this type. If the fucicort is a cream you could try applying white petrolatum over it (like plasin vaseline). But there are other possible causes of what you describe, including a fungal infection, which could worsen with fucicort.
