After we had sex, we fell asleep and we both had nightmares. is it normal or not? what maybe the cause of it? we both bothered by it.

Neither.: Unless you continually have nightmares after sex, I do not think you have to worry. It may have been a coincidence that you both had a nightmare. As stated however, if it becomes commonplace to get nightmares after sex, than i would tell your dr. And let them refer you to the proper specialist.
