Lymph nodes: Both areas you describe are consistent with locations for lymph nodes to swell up. If she has had a cold, ear infection or any condition of scalp/face (ie cradle cap), the ones described could enlarge. Its a good and normal way for the body to screen out infections or other inflammatory condiitons form invading further into the body. If they keep getting bigger, have doc check them out.
