Occluded ear drum: It is possible that wax is occluding your ear drum and you have an ear infection behind the occlusion.

Not sure: Ear wax can make the ear feel blocked but not fatigue. Was it removed to see if it felt better and if there was another possible cause for the blocked sensation? Other causes of blockage such as otitis media, ménière's, tmj, and eustachian tube dysfunction aren't associated with blocked ears. Suggest you speak to your md about other possible causes of fatigue.

Wax or other issues: If you had a viral syndrome(cold), last week, it is possible that your eustachian tube has swollen causing a sense of pressure or congestion in your ear. In some cases, there can be fluid in the middle ear. If the doctor cleaned out the ear wax and you still have blockage, then you should try decongestants and mucolytics like mucinex (guaifenesin). Also, consider an ENT evaluation to check out your problem.
