Don't have to suffer: No, you do not have to be on hospice always to get the pain medicaions. It varies case by case. You should, (if you haven't already), discuss your options for pain control with your physician. I dont not know your history/ details, but no one has to suffer. Do the right things and hope you can soon become eligible for the transplant. Good luck!
