I wouldn't recommend: It might depend on if you are being put to sleep to have the teeth out and also if the wisdom teeth are impacted (not through the tissue or bone or not.) everyone is different, but i would say that you should probably not go into work.

Possibly: I would start taking traumeel 6 drops 4x/day for two days before the extractions ..Its a homeopathic remedy that will help with healing. I would put you on a supplement program but it won't workmin one day you will have some swelling but the traumeel will help how well you feel will all depend upon how difficult the extractions are...Good luck!

Not recommended: I would take it easy for the rest of the day. Speak to your surgeon for his opinion to be sure.

Not a great idea: In general, if at all possible, see if you can get the rest of the day off. Maybe you can work something out with your employer. It is dependent upon so many factors. It might be ok if they are 4 simple extractions, you only have local anesthesia, and your job does not require any strenuous activity. If you get sedation, they are severely impacted, and your job requires strenuous activity, no!

No: If you are sedated or taking pain meds afterwards, you may not be fully functional. There is some bleeding when teeth are removed, and working with a mouth full of gauze sponges with blood on them may not be a very pleasant sight. Increased physical activity after your surgery could possibly make your recovery more complicated.
