Was on biaxin (clarithromycin) for a bacterial infection and on the last few day i have noticed that my tongue is swollen. took my last dose this morning (02/28/2103)?

Stop and see doctor: Best rule to follow is to see the physician quickly if any unexpected side efffects develop. Certainly, if the side effects are serious, seek attnetion immediately.

Where was infection: Need new antibiotic, possible allergic reaction, a swollen tongue can lead to many other problems..........Worse case scenario-------breathing complications-----seek care from dentist, md, nurse practitioner, do not wait!
