A member asked:

Diagnosed w/glaucoma. opthomologist said no peripheral vision loss. no optic nerve damage but the nerve tissue has thinned. how serious is that?

Early changes: This means that there has been some early damage to the optic nerve/ retina. As long as the eye pressure is controlled over every exam you should not lose any vision. Visits to the eye doctor every 4 months is recommended.

Follow your doc's: Recommendation. Without peripheral vision loss and only some nerve tissue thinning, may be early disease or just a suspect.
