What can cause dizziness in my young teen?

Many causes: Dizziness can be due to low blood pressure (bp), brain problems, low sugar, hyperventilation, vertigo, stress/anxiety and other causes. Dizziness that is improved laying down may be due to low bp, and may include dimming vision, reduced hearing or sweating. The most common causes of low BP include standing up too fast, the fainting reflex, and other more serious conditions. Ask your doctor.

Multiple causes: The causes of dizziness are quite varied. Most often, there is not a serious underlying condition; however, there are some that are very important to exclude. A complete evaluation is indicated for persistent symptoms.
