A member asked:

After you've had mono, how long is it till you won't infect people you interact with?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on situation: If the people you interact with have had it they are immune. For those that have not, the common range is 3 weeks to 3 months. However, after recovery, a mono patient can intermittently shed the virus in saliva for years.
