Mental Assessment: I would start with his primary care physician. Usually, the physician will evaluate for organic causes (diseases) of mental changes first. He may also need evaluation by a neurologist or mental health assessment. Let the primary care physician help steer you in the right direction first.

Call your insurance: Call your insurance company to find a psychologist or psychiatriast in your area who accepts your insurance. If you are worried about his immediate safety, bring him to an ER or call 911.
