Snoring: Snoring is very common and many forms of treatment have been recommended for it, many to no avail. Consult an ENT especially if associated with periods of stopped breathing followed by gasps for air.

Suggestions: You can try: avoid leping on your back or if your nose is clogged try an antihistamine. It is also possible you may have a life threatening condition called obstructive sleep apnea. I would suggest seeing our physician or a sleep specialist to rule that out. If it is ruled out, an appliance to advance your mandible made by a dentist trained in sleep medicine can also help with snoring.
