Restored blood flow.: Stenosis means narrowing & can affect any part of the body-mainly hollow organs & blood vessels. If carotid stenosis is treated, all the resulting symptoms will disappear. Carotid artery supplies front part of brain & eyes.Google & see more details.

See below: Carotid stenosis, if narrow enough represents a stroke risk, but if ctangiogram was normal, this is not your problem. If there was greater than 60% stenosis, should be repaired. There is no relation here to spinal stenosis, which is often due to congenital narrowing of the spinal canal and can threaten the spinal cord. Here, leg weakness may be an initial sign.

Ultrasound: Or doppler can give a false positive result , usually in females. If cta then performed, and does not show a stenosis, then you can stop worrying. Keep reducing your risk factors. See stroke.Org. Spinal stenosis unrelated to carotid stenosis.

Depends.: A CT angiogram is a more detailed examination than an ultrasound. An ultrasound will often over-estimate stenosis. Spinal stenosis is not related to arteries and so is completely unrelated to carotid stenosis. Stenosis is just a word that physicians use that means "narrowing." Speak to your physician if you are concerned about your stenoses.
