No.: Simple cysts are common and at your age 1 or 2 found in your kidneys are not worrisome. A simple cyst is not cancerous but if injury to that cyst leads to small bleeding within it, it can look "complex", meaning it is not easily distinguished from something more concerning such as cancer. These cysts warrant closer monitoring. Hope this helps!

See below: If it is really asimple cyst , it is unlikely to turn malignant.Cyst should be monitored periodically , but there is no consenses on this monitoring.
